Director:
James Mangold Author:
Jez Butterworth, John-Henry Butterworth | As Enzo Ferrari’s fast Rosso-Corsa racing cars dominated the world of motorsport in the mid-1960s, American car designer Carroll Shelby had to retire after winning a demanding 24-hour race in the 1959 Le24-hour endurance race But soon an unexpected proposal from Lee Iacocca, vice president of Henry Ford’s car company, offers the opportunity to defeat the Italians in his game. Under urgent circumstances, Ken Miles, a British sports car driver and race car, reluctantly agrees to shake hands and improve the company’s reputation, as Ford’s racing team has less than ninety days to rewrite history. The result is a non-conformist duo with a powerful Ford GT40 Mk I ultra-powerful race car. Can Shelby and Miles destroy Ferrari?
